Flood Warning: River Severn at Severn Ham, Tewkesbury

River levels are rising at the Tewkesbury Upper Pound and Mythe Bridge river gauges as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected on Wednesday, 29/01/25. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Severn Ham, Tewkesbury.

Predicted Peaks:- at Mythe 3.9m to 4.0m Wednesday morning, 29/01/25, Upper Pound 3.9m to 4.0m Wednesday morning, 29/01/25.

No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.

Please move possession and valuables off the ground or to safety.
