Flood Warning: River Severn at Apperley and The Leigh

River levels are rising at the Haw Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected on Wednesday, 29/01/25. We expect flooding to affect Gabb Lane at Apperley and local caravan parks.

Predicted Peak at Haw Bridge 4.7m to 4.8m on Wednesday morning, 29/01/25.

No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
