River remain high but steady at the Diglis (Worcester) river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected to continue today, 29/01/25. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and Roads adjacent the River from Highley to Tewkesbury. Locations affected are Stourport, Holt Fleet, Worcester, Kempsey, Severn Stoke, Upton upon Severn, South Quay, Diglis Parade and the Hylton Road towpath. Flooded drains may affect the racecourse and Worcester County cricket ground. Install property level protection if required.

Predicted peaks:- Bewdley 2.6m to 2.7m on 29/01/25, Worcester peaked at 3.54m, Diglis peaked 3.4m, Kempsey Yacht Club peaked at 5.5m, Saxons Lode peaked at 4.3m on Wednesday 29/01/25.

We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water.
