Severity Last Changed: River levels continue to rise this morning. Flooding is forecast. Flooding is possible from this morning, Sunday 30 November 2025 . Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from the Welsh border at Llawnt to Shrawardine near Shrewsbury. Other locations that may be affected include Llanymynech, Maesbrook and Melverley. Roads between Maesbrook, Melverley and Pentre start to flood. Llanymynech peaked yesterday and is now falling, Cae Howel rising slowly 3.6m to 3.8m on 30/11/25 AM We are closely monitoring the situation. Further heavy rainfall is forecast. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 1 December 2025 or as the situation changes |
