River levels remain high but steady at the Kempsey Yacht Club river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected to continue today, the 29/01/25. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and Squires walk in the area of the Hatfield Brook Kempsey. Kempsey Flood Alleviation scheme was made operational, 27/01/25.

Kempsey Yacht Club peaked at 5.5m on Wednesday 29/01/25.

No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
