River levels have peaked and remain steady, no further rise is forecast. This risk of flooding continues. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Slash Lane at Sileby and the Mountsorrel to Sileby road. River levels at Pillings Lock Gauge will continue to rise until 15 March 2026. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00 on 15 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
