Flood Warning: River Lambourn and its tributaries from Upper Lambourn down to Newbury

Property flooding is not currently expected.



River levels remain high but are falling slowly on the Winterbourne Stream in Bagnor and the Lambourn in Newbury. However, flooding of roads and low lying land is expected to continue today (29/01/25).



The forecast is for a dry day today (29/01/2025). We expect river levels to fall steadily over the next few days. We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Do not drive through flood water.
