Flood Warning: River Thames and tributaries from Buscot Wick down to Kings Lock

Property flooding is not currently expected.



River levels are continuing to rise slowly on the River Thames. Therefore, flooding of roads and low lying land is expected to continue today (29/01/25), particularly between Lechlade on Thames and Newbridge, and in the Eynsham area.



The forecast is for a dry day today (29/01/2025) We expect river levels to start to stabilise later today. Levels remain sensitive to further rainfall.



We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
