Property flooding is not currently expected.



River levels are high on the River Blackwater as a result of recent rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today 29/01/25, especially in the Blackwater and Swallowfield area.



Further rainfall is possible for today, Wednesday 29/01/25, which may be heavy at times. River levels are now starting to fall slowly but will remain sensitive to any further heavy rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 30/01/25, or as the situation changes.
