Flood Warning: River Darent from Westerham to Dartford

River levels remain high as a result of heavy rainfall yesterday.



Flooding continues to be possible for low lying land, footpaths and roads near rivers, in particular around the Otford, Shoreham and Eynsford areas. We expect river levels to remain high throughout today, 16 January 2026.



We are closely monitoring the situation and will issue further messages as required.



Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
