Flood Warning: River Bourne and tributaries

The River Bourne water levels remain high due to the influence of the groundwater in the area. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Bourne with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around tributaries between Aughton and Laverstock.

The forecast for the weekend is for further heavy showers on Friday night and again on Saturday night into Sunday morning. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. We will continue to monitor the weather and this message will be updated by 5:00 PM on 29/04/2024, or as the situation changes.
