Flood Warning: Lower Frome and tributaries

High river levels may lead to flooding. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Lower Dorset Frome, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around tributaries between Dorchester and Wareham.

Further showers are expected overnight and into the morning. More organised rainfall is expected to move north from the coast on the second half of Wednesday. We are closely monitoring the levels.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Don't put yourself or others at risk.
