Flood Warning: West Somerset Streams

Flooding is still possible as the river near Beggearn Huish in West Somerset remains above the flood alert threshold of 0.35m following heavy rainfall two weekends ago. However, water levels look stable and continue to slowly fall.

Tuesday's forecast predicts dry weather. While the Flood Alert may remain in place through till Wednesday, we are closely monitoring the weather forecast, river levels, and overall conditions. If the dry forecast holds, the alert could be lifted soon.

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
