High tides tomorrow morning may lead to overtopping on the Newcastle Quayside and flooding at low lying areas.

Flooding is possible around the high tide between 5.45 AM on 21/09/2024 and 7:30 AM on 21/09/2024.

Areas most at risk include riverside footpaths and low lying land and roads.

We are closely monitoring the situation and liaising with emergency services and local authorities.

Avoid low lying paths and roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
