Levels have now peaked and are starting to slowly fall at Westwick Weir

Flooding is expected to continue to affect locations near the River Ure, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Boroughbridge Camping and Caravanning Site.

We expect snow to continue to melt during Wednesday, river levels may remain high because of this. We are closely monitoring the situation and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Don't put yourself or others at risk.
