River levels are falling on the River Nidd. However, levels remain high in the Skipbridge area, where water from the Nidd is joining high levels on the River Ouse. Levels in this area are expected to peak during Wednesday morning.

We are closely monitoring the situation and liaising with emergency services and local authorities.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
