Flood Warning: Middle River Aire catchment

River levels in the Middle River Aire catchment have slowly risen, primarily due to thawing snow. Flooding may occur on low-lying park/farmland next to the river and its tributaries. At this stage we do not expect properties to flood from the River Aire. Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not walk or drive through floodwater.

No significant rain is expected over the coming days. We do not currently expect to issue any flood warnings but continue to monitor the situation. This message will be updated by 08:00am on Wednesday 15th January 2025, or as the situation changes.
